Terms of Service
These are the terms you agree to by using Skedulaa - as a business booking your appointments through us, or as someone on your team. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
At a glance
0% commission, always
We never take a cut of deposits or payments your clients make to you - on every plan.
You keep control of your data
You're the data controller for your clients' information; we process it on your instructions.
Cancel any time
No lock-in - cancel from Settings and keep access until the period you've paid for ends.
England and Wales law
These terms are governed by, and interpreted under, the law of England and Wales.
Your account
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to use Skedulaa. The details you give us when you sign up need to be accurate, and you're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account - including anything a team member you've added does with the access you've given them.
Using Skedulaa
Skedulaa is for running a real appointment-based business. Please don't use it to:
- Book fake appointments, or take deposits for a service you don't intend to provide
- Send clients anything abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to their booking
- Try to break, disable, or bypass the platform's security
- Scrape, resell, or sublicense access to Skedulaa without our agreement
- Use the service in a way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction
We can suspend an account that does any of this - see Termination below.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe, through Stripe. Most plans start with a free trial - its length is shown before you start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged automatically when it finishes.
You can cancel any time from Settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't offer refunds for the unused part of a billing period except where the law requires it.
Deposits and payments from your clients
If you turn on deposits, we never take a cut of what your clients pay you - 0% commission, on every plan. Payments go straight to your own connected Stripe account.
You set your own cancellation and no-show policy, and it's shown to clients when they book. Skedulaa is the tool that enforces it - collecting a deposit, and settling it as forfeited or refunded per your policy - but the booking itself is an agreement between you and your client. We're not a party to it, and we're not responsible for disputes that come up between you and a client over a booking.
Your data and your clients' data
How we handle personal data is set out in full in our Privacy Policy. In short: for the client information you collect through your booking page, you are the data controller and Skedulaa is a data processor acting on your instructions - which means you're responsible for having your own lawful basis and, if you need one, your own customer-facing privacy notice.
Service availability
We work to keep Skedulaa available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access - there'll occasionally be maintenance, and we rely on third-party providers (Stripe, Twilio, Google, and our hosting infrastructure) whose own downtime is outside our control.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, doesn't pay what's owed, or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or abusively - we'll tell you why where we practically can. Some information is kept after closing, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
Skedulaa is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or lost bookings). Nothing in these terms limits liability for things the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we'll let account holders know by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
